Striped Bowl: Wheel-thrown Pottery

Warm white clay with cobalt blue lines. I made this bowl on the pottery wheel. Once it was half dried (“leather hard”), I scored deep grooves into the surface. After bisque firing, I laid glaze down into those grooves and coated the entirety with a white finish which makes the pot safe for use with food.
