Short Vault Pendant in Cobalt and Gold

These arched pendants borrow their texture from a beautiful limpet shell that I found at the seashore in the Canary Islands. I press soft clay onto the shell’s patterned surface while the clay is still soft.

Each is slightly different in texture making the piece unique. No two are the same...just the way handmade ceramics should be.

The clay pendant measures 4.5cm (1.75inch) wide. The necklace is hung on a short, gold-plated chain with a clasp. It falls roughly just below the collar bone.
